• Certification Details
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Required for: RNs: ICU, SICU, MICU, Endoscopy/GI, CCU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, PACU, Cath Lab, ER.
• Preferred for: RNs: Med/Surg, OR, L&D, PCU Tele.
• BLS - Basic Life Support
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required for PICU, Peds, ER.
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure Required for Nursery, NICU, and L&D.
• CHEMO - Chemotherapy Required for Oncology RN.
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course Required for ER, MSTICU.
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring AWHONN Intermediate required for L&D.
• Tech Cert Verification - National
• HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement
• State License 1 Verification
• NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
• NIH Stroke Certification
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
• Color Blind Testing Online
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam

  • Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts in Saint Luke's 6-week schedule period, combination of F/S/S.
  • Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments as needed per unit.
  • Floating requirement: regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed.
