Job Description:
A company is looking for community representatives for an
oversight panel (IBC) that reviews clinical trials, particularly
for gene therapy.
Key Responsibilities
Attend and participate in committee meetings via
videoconference
Engage in discussions and vote on items related to clinical
trials
Represent community interests and provide oversight on research
safety
Required Qualifications
Reside near a population center where research will occur
Have access to a computer and the internet for online meetings
Experience in science, healthcare, environmental health,
occupational safety, or emergency response is preferred
Willingness to participate in flexible meeting schedules
Commitment to making a contribution to biomedical research
